How it started
I was looking for a hobby when I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis some years ago. As I used to love listening to and telling stories, it seemed natural to gravitate towards storytelling. Once I decided on creative writing, I enrolled in a night course in Greenhills College. My abiding memory of a wonderful teacher there is one evening he asked us to write a short story and bring it in the following week. Naturally I gravitated towards a murder/mystery.
In a small bedroom we converted to an office, I pulled the electronic typewriter towards me and set to work. Next week, proud that I had completed my assignment, I read my short story aloud. The only comment from the teacher was “when running from a killer you don’t stop to describe the colour of the walls or carpet".
Ever since, I’ve been hooked.

Afraid that she will be arrested or murdered before she uncovers the truth, Helena puts her career on hold and sets out to identify the person or persons responsible. Her quest uncovers a web of deceit, greed and an unscrupulous lust for power.
